Our history

Corporate Toddlers is a family-owned business in operation since 1990.  We hold our staff to the highest standards in the industry.  All the children in our care are treated with warmth and respect.

Part of every selection process should include meeting with, and learning about the owner.  Let’s face it – the people running the show will dictate the quality of care your little one will receive.  You must be completely confident in the people setting the standards.  As a parent, I know this:  when it comes to your child’s well being, always trust your instincts!

Corporate Toddlers is an established school with a long history of success.  We are not just another institutional national chain preschool outlet.  The service and attention you and your child will receive here is typical of any family owned business.  Indeed, our primary source of enrollment is from word-of-mouth referrals.  The most common remarks heard by these referrals involve the “personal touch and the warm, loving, nurturing environment” experienced by the children we have served over the years.  While we certainly have an excellent academic curriculum, we never lose sight of perhaps the most important aspects of any child’s early development – the social and peer group skills needed to succeed in elementary school and beyond.  Children with these skills typically transition more smoothly into the new and challenging environment of elementary school.

We focus on preparing each child for both the social and academic challenges that lie ahead.  A confident, socially responsible, well-educated child makes for a smooth transition into “the big school” for both the child and his or her parents.  Indeed, laying this strong foundation now in preschool will prove invaluable to your child’s growth and development in the years ahead.

We have taken many precautions to ensure the safety of your child.  We utilize an electronic security system at the front entrance (which restricts access to the general public) and we conduct a very thorough background check on all employees. Additionally, our staff is instructed and certified in infant/child CPR.  We have excellent staff-child ratios with small peer group sizes in each classroom.

We have an optional hot lunch program available daily, and our curriculum includes a variety of in-house special events for the children throughout the year.  There is both an outdoor play area for the children.  We also looking at possibilty of offering a computer lab for our older children (included in your tuition).

We invite you to come observe the staff and our children, and ask questions that you may have.  Please feel free to bring your child along as well.  Observe our children carefully, as they are the ultimate evaluators of any early childhood program.  I am confident that you will find them to be happy and well adjusted.

Our graduates

Children graduate Corporate Toddlers’ programs with the skills they need to succeed in private or public school. In surveys, kindergarten and first grade teachers report that Corporate Toddlers graduates are enthusiastic learners who are socially and academically ready for the years ahead.

We offer various ‘immersion sessions’ in the afternoons, such as Spanish and American Sign Language. In some age groups, we give bilingual lessons.

Our community

Our families come from nearby neighborhoods, creating a close-knit environment and strong parent partnerships. Whether we’re close to home or near the office, our center is ideal for busy working families and easy to get to – for pick-up and drop-off or to stop in for a visit.

We use fun, research-based, multi-sensory strategies to help children develop early learning skills, including Lively Letters, Open Court for phonics and literacy, Handwriting Without Tears, and Everyday Math. We use Responsive Classroom as the basis for our social and emotional learning curriculum throughout the school.

Health & Safety

Corporate Toddlers has taken numerous precautions in the area of personal safety and hygiene to ensure the well being of your child.  Among these precautions are:

  • We have security doorbell with video and an electronically locked entrance.  The general public has no access to our facility.  We can see and talk with those who attempt to enter our facility before they can gain access.
  • We require advance notice if a non-parent/guardian is to pick up your child.  You must submit a hand written note giving us permission to allow your designated person to pick up your child on that particular day.  If there is any uncertainty at all regarding verification of the identity of your designated person for pick up, we will hold your child until you can be contacted to confirm the pick up arrangement.
  • Every electrical outlet is a childproof safety outlet, specifically designed to prevent electric shock by probing objects held by children.  While a child may pull off outlet covers guarding a standard outlet, the safety feature of our childproof outlets cannot be neutralized.
  • Each one of our six different age groups have age appropriate toys and manipulatives designed specifically for use within the age range of that particular class.
  • Professional cleaners vacuum, mop, sanitize, etc… our entire facility at the end of each school day.
  • Our carpets are professionally cleaned periodically.
  • We use disposable cups for drinks, disposable gloves for each diaper change, anti-bacterial soap for all hand washing and a disinfectant cleaner on all surfaces and toys.
  • Hand washing is a simple but vital step in preventing the spread of illness.  Hand washing for caregivers is mandatory when diapering, toileting, and before and after snacks and meals.  Hand washing for children is also mandatory after toileting, and before and after snacks and meals.
  • We employ a Registered Nurse, and periodically offer complimentary First Aid and CPR courses for our staff.
  • We separate ill children awaiting pick up by parents from their classmates to help minimize the spread of illness.
  • We strictly enforce our policy on the Management of Communicable Disease to help minimize the risk of sick children spreading illnesses.  Those who have been sent home due to illness must return with a physician’s note diagnosing the ailment and specifying a return to school date.
